Hotel North Woods is open and ready to welcome you! As it has always been, the health and safety of guests, staff and our local community is our top priority.  Below is an update on the actions we have taken in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and what you can expect from us the next time you visit.

Your Health and Well-Being

We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We are following CDC guidelines and implementing industry-leading health and safety protocols. Our hotel is  required to adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures including all local laws. In addition, we have taken the following additional measures specific to COVID-19:

    • Our team has been trained on all new health and safety procedures and enhanced operating protocols.
    • Guests & staff will be required to wear masks or other appropriate face coverings in all public areas.
    • We have increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including the lobby, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms) and high-touch points in guest rooms.
    • Guest rooms will be left empty for 48 hours after check-out.
    • All guest rooms will receive enhanced cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces per new health guidelines.
    • Stay-over housekeeping services will be limited to by-request only to minimize potential exposure to guests and staff.
    • Disposable in-room coffee amenities and sanitized  TV remote controls will be provided at check-in.
    • We have increased the deployment of hand sanitizers.
    • Contactless service will be offered when possible.

Expanded penalty-free cancellation policy

All refundable reservations made directly with the hotel can be cancelled up to 4pm on the day of check-in. Guests with prepaid reservations  may opt to receive Choice Privileges® points for future travel. If you need to adjust reservations made via the Hotel North Woods and/or Choice Hotels website, app or call center, please contact our front office staff at 518-523-1818. If you need to adjust reservations made through another travel site, please contact them for assistance.
