To Our Valued Guests:

As it has always been, the health and safety of guests, staff and our local community is our top priority. Per Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s “New York State on Pause” executive order, hotels have been deemed as essential businesses. It is with this in mind that we are only accepting reservations for pre-approved emergency and essential personnel (Government, Hospital, Health Agency, Law Enforcement, Military, Construction and other critical personnel) for extended stays. We are closed to arrival for all other guests through May 14, 2020.  If you are emergency or essential personnel requiring lodging during this time, please contact our Director of Sales, Steve Vance, at 518-302-5808 or [email protected].

If you wish to book a future stay after May 14, 2020 we invite you to book online.  We look forward to seeing you in brighter days ahead!

Below is an update on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

Expanded penalty-free cancellation policy

All refundable reservations made directly with the hotel can be cancelled up to 4pm on the day of check-in. In addition, Hotel North Woods is now extending special exceptions for all Advance Purchase Rate non-refundable reservations made directly with the hotel for travel through May 14, 2020. Guests with prepaid reservations  may opt to receive Choice Privileges® points for future travel.

If you need to adjust reservations made via the Hotel North Woods and/or Choice Hotels website, app or call center, please contact our front office staff at 518-523-1818. If you need to adjust reservations made through another travel site, please contact them for assistance.

Your Health, Safety and Well-Being

We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.  We are closely monitoring developments around the world and are consulting guidelines from global organizations including the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities to ensure the actions we take are comprehensive and suitable.

Our hotel is  required to adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures including all local laws. In addition, we have taken additional measures specific to COVID-19.

    • Our team is receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
    • We have increased the frequency of cleaning public areas (including the lobby, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms) and high-touch points in guest rooms.
    • Our cleaning staff has been trained on cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses.
    • We have increased the deployment of hand sanitizers.
